What an extraordinary evening full of surprises!
Everyone who attended the Rebel Ball Reimagined was part of a unique group who witnessed an outstanding night of fundraising for brain cancer research in a COVID-safe setting.
Thank you to our ambassadors who volunteered their time to make the night an incredible success – our MC Ben Fordham, our Chef Luke Mangan and our surprise guest performer Leo Sayer.
Guests were treated to a magnificent three course menu designed by Luke Mangan and created by Doltone House Catering. Each beautiful dish was matched by the very finest wine from Calabria Family Wines and Collet Champagne flowed all night.
We heard an impassioned speech from Dr Charlie Teo about our latest research into brain cancer. We were truly honoured to hear former Australia test cricketer, Gavin Robertson, open up about his battle with brain cancer and how he’s beating the odds.
Guests were treated to an energetic performance by Leo Sayer who sang his hits full tilt in true showman style. To round off the evening, guests enjoyed a digestif cocktail and danced the night away on a high after a fabulous evening raising significant funds.
Thank you to special guest the Hon. Brad Hazzard, NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research for acknowledging the Charlie Teo Foundation’s outstanding contribution to the complex area of brain cancer research.
This remarkable result raising over $2 million would not have been imaginable without the support of all our guests and everyone who helped make this night possible.
We are eternally grateful for your generosity.
